Privacy policy
Last updated:
Anohen is designed to collect as little data as possible. This policy explains what is processed and why.
1. No accounts, no personal database
There are no user accounts. Our database stores only the published content (galleries, pages, tags and their translations). It contains no information about visitors.
2. Data stored in your browser
The age confirmation, your language choice, reader settings, hidden tags and local reading history are stored in your browser (localStorage and one language-preference cookie read only by the home address). They never leave your device and you can clear them at any time in your browser or in the local preferences panel.
3. View counting
To rank popular galleries we count page views. To avoid counting the same visitor twice within an hour, a one-way keyed hash (HMAC) of your IP address is kept in memory for at most one hour. The IP address itself is not stored.
4. Server logs
Our servers and content delivery network keep technical access logs (IP address, requested URL, time, user agent) for security and abuse prevention. They are kept for 14 to 30 days and then deleted.
5. Cookies and analytics
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies and do not sell any data. If analytics or advertising are introduced, they will not set cookies without your consent where consent is required (for example under the GDPR).
6. Your rights
Because we do not keep personal data linked to you, most access or deletion requests can be satisfied by clearing your browser data. For any privacy question write to [email protected].
